Rock Star withdraws from California Wildfire Benefit Concert Day before Show

Dave Matthews no longer appears at a star -studded benefit concert arranged for California Wildfire Relief or the Music Area of ​​the Year, who benefits Gala this week.

Matthews, front man for the grammy-winning rock band Dave Matthew’s band, withdrew from Fire One day before the concert was scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 30th.

“Unfortunately, due to a critical illness in the family, Dave Matthews is unable to appear on FireAid and Musicares advantage this week,” a statement sent to the band’s Instagram story Wednesday read.

At FireAid, Matthews was scheduled to perform with John Mayer for the first time.

The concert – which will occur on the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome – will contain more than two dozen actions. Other notable artists include Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, Alanis Morissette, P! NK and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
