“Wait for me – before the two of you start beating each other.” Lionsgate has revealed the first official trailer to a crime comedy called Riff RaffThe latest film directed by New Yorker filmmaker Dito Montiel. Not to be confused with The classic from 1935 With Spencer Tracy. This first one premiered at the 2024 Toronto Film Festival last year and will be out in theaters in February. Once criminal vince turned his life around when he fell in love with Sandy. Almost 20 years later, the happy couple is still looking forward to spending a quiet New Year’s Eve with their son. But then Vince’s second son, Rocco, emerges unannounced with his pregnant girlfriend, Marina, and Vince’s first wife, Ruth, in tow. It’s not a happy reunion. Ruth is rude & shit, while Rocco – who never sold out left the family business – clearly hides something. Hot at Rocco’s tail is Lefty, an aging mafioso with a score to settle with regard to his own son. The film contains Jennifer Coolidge. Ed Harris. Gabrielle Union. Lewis Pullman. Miles J. Harvey. Emanuela Postacchini. Michael Angelo Covino. Pete Davidsonand Bill Murray. This one looks mildly entertaining but mostly springbar.
