Ufcs instagram hacked in apparent crypto -fidus

UFC found himself victim of a confusing social media hack.

A post to the company’s official Instagram account Wednesday night promoting a cryptocurrency did not come from the company, According to a report from MMA Junkie.

A UFC official told the site that their Instagram had been hacked and that the position did not come from them.

The image in the post contained a UFC logo and a apparent Crypto -Tevebog Address, and the caption contained promotional copy that seemed to suggest that MMA League launched a new coin.

“UFC fans have been waiting, and the moment is here,” the post read. “Get ready to own the legacy. Precision. Strength. All in a coin. #UFC #unleashthefight. “

The post, which had comments, was off, was up to UFC’s account for more than an hour before it appeared that the company retained control of the account and pulled it down.

Under the apparent hack there had also been a post on the account’s Instagram story that was linked to a place where the crypto could be purchased.

UFC is holding a fighting night event on Saturday in Saudi Arabia, overwritten by Israel Adesanya against Nassourdine Imavov.

UFC 312, Heading of Middle Weight Master Dricus du Plessis, who defends against Sean Strickland, takes place a week later in Sydney, Australia.
