Ex-Mets Ace Lander with new team

Veteranstarter Max Scherzer has come to an agreement on one year, $ 15.5 million deal with Blue Jays, according to More reports.

Toronto strengthens their rotation with the three-time Cy Young Award winner and eight-time all-star.

Scherzer began 2024 with the Rangers season on the wounded list that rehabbed from back surgery and started eight starts between June 23 and July 30, before he was sidelined again, this time with a shoulder injury. He started one more on that season, then was then done for the rest of the year with a left-hamstring injury. When he hit free agency this season, he profiled as a good short -lived opportunity for teams.

Scherzer landed with Rangers in 2023 via a trade from Mets when they sold the team at the deadline.

Between Mets and Rangers in 2023, the three-time Cy Young winner released a 3.77 ERA and a 1,120 whip over 152 2/3 laps.
