Caitlin Clark is reportedly getting another high -profile teammate.

ESPNs Alexa Philippou Reported Friday that the veteran tip Natasha Howard accepted a new deal with the Indiana fever. This will be her second stint with Indiana, who prepared her with the overall overall election in 2014.

Howard was a secondary contributor in the first two seasons of his career on the fever, but eventually developed an all-star and defensive leader during future stops. She has also played for Minnesota Lynx, Seattle Storm, New York Liberty and Dallas Wings.

The 33-year-old was in Dallas the last two seasons and comes out of one of the best scoring efforts in his career in 2024.

She average 17.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.3 steals at night while shooting 45.6 percent off the field as a bright spot for a wing team that fought on the way to a 9-31 record .

It was yet another impressive season in a career that includes three championships (2017 with Minnesota, 2018 with Seattle and 2020 with Seattle), 2019 Defensive Player of the Year, 2018 Most improved player, two All-Star choices, two alt- Defensively first team nods and a place on the 2019 All-Wnba First Team.

This trait comes after the fever advertised On Wednesday, de Kelsey Mitchell signed and further emphasized their push against championship competition with Clark at the forefront.

Indiana reached the end game last season for the first time since the 2016 campaign, but lost in the first round to Connecticut Sun. Given that it was Clark’s Rookie season and the team went 13-27 the year before, all indications were that the future was pretty bright.

And now it’s even brighter after signing Mitchell and adding a veteran leader like Howard.

Howard is also the type of experienced player who has reached the highest scene of the sport who can help a young fever team turn the corner when turning to the pressure after the season. She was to form quite a two-stance in frontcourt with Aliyah Boston, when Indiana Gears up to the 2025 campaign.
