Miles Teller shared an update on how he and his wife Keleigh Finds after the loss of their home in Los Angeles Wildfires earlier this month.

The actor told Extra TV Friday, January 31, while promoting his latest film project, The gorgeThat he and Keleigh took things one step at a time.

“We’re doing okay,” Miles, 37, told the business. “This is honestly, this is a nice distraction. It’s just difficult. “

The actor also praised his wife for his part in helping them move forward as they navigate the loss and started a new chapter.

“I think that every day you are just kind of to find out things a little more every day, and I’m lucky that I have a really wonderful life partner to review this with,” he said.

Keleigh, 32, confirmed that the couple’s home no longer stood after the devastating fires via an Instagram post that was shared in the previous hours of January 10.

The Instagram post contained a photo of the couple’s home taken when the couple evacuated the neighborhood. Another picture showed what was left when they returned – mostly charred rubble and ash.

“To everyone who reaches out, I can’t thank you enough, your kind hearts have meant the world, I will never forget them,” she wrote in the post. “The community has come out stronger than I imagine, Pacific Palisades I love you out of goal, you are a little slice of heaven, we are coming back stronger than ever.”

She added, “If you’re in the LA area, come out if you can. I wish I grabbed my wedding dress .. Wish I did very differently, but it doesn’t matter, get sure, go out. There are no words. Thanks to the first respondents who are fighting. “

Miles and Keleigh Founded the knot in Hawaii in September 2019 after being engaged to a safari in Africa in August 2017. The couple has been together since May 2013.

During a performance on Live with Kelly and Ryan In October 2017, Miles shared the details of the proposal.
