National Black History Month, 2025 – The White House

By the president of the United States of America
A proclamation

Today I am very honored to recognize February 2025 as National Black History Month.

Every year, National Black History Month is an opportunity to celebrate contributions from so many black American patriots that have indelibly shaped our country’s history.

Throughout our history, black Americans have been among our country’s most accompanied leaders and formed the cultural and political fate of our nations in deep ways. American heroes like Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Thomas Sowell, Justice Clarence Thomas and countless others represent what is best in America and her citizens. Their results, which have monumentally promoted the tradition of equality under the law of our great country, continue to serve as inspiration for all Americans. We will also never forget the results of American greatnesses such as Tiger Woods that have pushed the boundaries of expertise in their respective areas and pave the way for others to follow.

This national black story month, when America prepares to enter a historically golden age, I will expand my enormous gratitude to black Americans for all they have done to bring us to this moment and for the many future contributions , They will provide as we move on into a future with unlimited opportunity during my administration.

Now I do, therefore, Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority awarded to me by the Constitution and the Laws of the Undoor States, hereby February 2025 as National Black History Month. I urge public officials, educators, librarians and all the population of the United States to observe this month with appropriate programs, ceremonies and activities.

To witness, of which I have put my hand here this hand
The thirty first day of January, in the year of our Lord two thousand twenty-five, and of the independence of the United States united states the two hundred and forty-tiring.
