NBA: LeBron James Stars for Los Angeles Lakers in the middle of Luka Doncic Trade Reports

LeBron James inspired Los Angeles Lakers to a 128-112 win over New York Knicks in the middle of reports Dalla’s Mavericks star Luka Doncic could soon become his new teammate in a huge three-way trade agreement.

James scored 33 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists when Lakers ended Knicks’ five-game-winning row at Madison Square Garden.

Shortly after the game was complete, reports showed that five-time NBA All-Star Doncic could join James on the West Coast.

ESPN reported Anthony Davis, an NBA title Wroger with Lakers in 2020, would go to Dallas as part of the deal with Guard Max Christie.

Mavericks would also get a 2029 draft first round, while Maxi Kleber and Markieff Morris go to Lakers.

Three-way trade also allegedly includes Utah Jazz, which would get the Lakers guard Jalen Hood-Schifino and a few elections in the second round of this year’s draft.

Slovenian Doncic, currently sidelined with a calf injury, has an average of 28.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.8 assists per day. Fight for Mavericks since he was traded from Atlanta Hawks in 2018.

The 25-year-old has been an NBA All-Star in the last five seasons and ended as the league’s top scorer in 2024 to help his side reach the NBA final.

Although Doncic could be seen as James’ long-term successor, the 40-year-old showed that he can still compete at the highest level with a prominent New York screen.

“He led tonight with his spirit, his strength, his voice,” said Laker’s trainer JJ Redick.

“It was clear that he played a fantastic statistical game, but from the start it was very clear that he was on a mission.”

Elsewhere, reigning NBA scored most valuable player (MVP) Nikola Jokic 28 points with 13 rebounds and 17 assists when Denver Nuggets won 107-104 against Charlotte Hornets, who suffered a fourth consecutive defeat.

Aaron Wiggins scored a career high 41 points when the Western conference leaders Oklahoma City Thunder beat The Sacramento Kings 144-110.

Kyle Kuzma scored 31 points as Washington Wizards ended a 16-match’s losing row with a 105-103 victory on Minnesota Timberwolves, while Utah Jazz ended an eight-match losing race of their own with a 113-99 victory over Orlando Magic.

Atlanta Hawks were beaten 132-127 by Indianapolis Pacers despite 34 points and 17 assists from Trae Young.
