The insider added that the hospital’s visit was made late at night to avoid whispers and further speculation from other inmates or prison staff.

Combs did not spend the night and was brought back to his cell after MRI concluded, the source said.

A prisons spokesman said spokesman for the post, “for the sake of privacy, security and security reasons, we do not comment on the conditions of inclusion for someone who is in our custody to include medical status or medical trips.”

Law enforcement source said they got their heads up about what happened “just in case it was leaking and they wanted chaos.”

Reps and lawyers for combs could not be immediately reached for comment.

The music mogul has been held at MDC since he was denied bail on December 3rd and awaiting trial against trade in sex, racketing and prostitution.

Combs was accused of abusing more women and leading Bad Boy Records as a “criminal company” for more than a decade.
