The NBA announced on Friday that Stewart would be suspended for the night’s competition after he picked up a sixth flagrant bad point this season.

Stewart picked up an obvious error that got an automatic draft Wednesday after he controlled an opponent, Thomas Bryant when a shot went up.

Bryant had to be held back by his teammates, and Stewart almost immediately went off the field.

The league announced the suspension along with a $ 50,000 fine for Stewart to make “inappropriate and critical movements” after his draft Wednesday in Pistons’ 133-119 losses to Pacers in Indiana.

The movements were probably the apparent finger guns he pointed to the piston bench.

Stewart went into the game with four flags bad points, so the call triggered the automatic suspension based on the league’s protocols in regular season.

Despite the suspension, Pistons still gave Stewart Bobble Heads to 5,000 fans.

The pistons have been a pleasant surprise this season. Their 23-24 record is good for eighth place in the eastern conference, which would put them in the play-in tournament.
