Chappell Roans 2025 Grammys look is almost as old as she is.

The 26-year-old pop star (whose real name is Kayleigh Rose Amstutz) touched the red carpet in Grammys in a head-turning archive look after her debut on music’s biggest night.

Like many of her previous looks – from her Lady Liberty Getup on 2024’s Governor’s Ball to her medieval way on MTV VMAS 2024 – Roan’s Red Carpet Ensemble was camp and bold. It was also vintage.

The pop star chose a 2003 Jean Paul Gaultier dress from the spring/summer Couture collection complete with designs original colorful feather-like hat.

“Also got some long nails, a lot of glam today,” she told Associated Press about her look on the red carpet.

E! S fashion correspondent Zanna Roberts Rassi said on the living red carpet before the show that Roan’s Stylist Genesis Webb had this look on her vision board for 10 years and “slept with it in her room because it is the precious one.”

She matched her glam to the dress with her signature porcelain doll as makeup with a blue-and-gold eye and deep cherry lip.

Roan also opened to AP about her explosive year and admitted that she has “fun” with her career right now.

She also said she remains focused on rebuilding her community after the devastating Los Angeles fires.

“We lost so much. As my community was lost, ”she said. “I take (it) so seriously. But like the funny of art and traits I keep on with joy in these times and like really the girls up because we all lost. It affected us all. Just to be here as such An iconic grammys I feel very honored.

Roan joins artists Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift with six Grammy nominations at this year’s ceremony.

Her hit -song “good luck babe!” is up to Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance while her album from 2023 The increase and fallen by a midwest princess is nominated for album of the year and best pop vocal album. She is also working with the best new artist with Carpenter, Benson Boone, Doechii, Khruangbin, Raye, Shaboozey and Teddy Swims. Roan appears later in the night.

On January 29, Roan went to Instagram, where she opened to the main room she is in front of the upcoming ceremony this year, hosted by Trevor Noah.

Two months before Grammys debuted Roan as at Saturday Night Live. Her performance on the iconic Late Night Show brought lots of great fashion moments. For her performance by the “Pink Pony Club” she channeled a break of Frankenstein-inspired look with a glittery white palm dress, and then switched to a gingham-nosy and cowboy boots to introduce his new country-style song “The Giver . ”

It was, however, the promo clothes, designed by Project course alum Gunnar Deatherage. It was the most detailed.

After the episode, Deatherage People Exclusivly told the clothes inspired by burlesque dancers from the 1900s and involved a massive head piece, originally designed for the stage. “When we continued to build and the look continued to develop and become cooler and more complicated, it was clear that this look was necessary to see in a more stationary moment,” Deatherage explained.

It also had a lot of moving parts that required a team of three members and almost 20 days worth working combined. DEATHERAGE – that also designed Roan’s Swan Ensemble to The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon starring – And Katie Maimi was working on sewing bodice and dramatic dragonfly wings that jumped out of the hips, while Deatherage’s girlfriend Christopher Minafo created the dramatic headgear. It took the trio about 500 hours to complete.

“I think she is so visionary and she has made such fun calls when costumes want their best moment,” he says of the singer.
