The Asian Turn’s first elevated event of the season is complete with the initial international series India.

Given its status as one of the highest profiled tournaments on the circuit this season as well as its proximity to the life golf opener next week, it was not unexpected to see many players from Big-Money League-Tee it up on DLF Golf Golf and Country Club.

For the 13 full-time life golfers in the field, it gave the ideal opportunity to get up to speed in front of the new season, while for three reserves gave an early chance of getting a valuable order of merit points on the board as they see the opportunity for a Permanent contract for the 2026 season.

Perhaps surprisingly, it was one of LIV Golf Standby’s that beat a Bone Fide Life Golf Superstar for the title.

Former World No. 1 Amateur Ollie Schniederjans confirmed only that he would become a life-golfreserve last month as he seems to emulate the 2023 International Series Order of Merit winner Andy Ogetree by earning a full-time contract, and he impressed With a commanding victory that he finished 10-under to the tournament to crush GC-captain Bryson DeChambeau.

The US Open Champion’s Week started slowly with rounds of 71, 72 and 74, before gathering excellent Sunday with a 65. In the end, it still left him four shots from Schniedjans in his first performance in India.

Two more high-profile life golfers shared the third when GC captain Joaquin Niemann-there had led into the final round and fireball’s GC’s Abraham Ancer ended eight behind the winner of two below.

Not far behind them was another torque GC player, Sebastian Munoz, who even ended for the tournament after a final round of 74.

The local star Anirban Lahiri, who plays for Defechambeaus crushers GC, ended the T10 on two-over.

More more life golfers managed it as far as this weekend, including another reserve, Wade Ormsby, which ended T21 on five-over, and 15-time dp World Tour winner Paul Casey, who finished T44 on 10-over.

Two new signings also made the clip, Cleks GCS Frederik Kjettrup will be happier after completing T24 at +7, while Fireball’s GC’s Luis Masaveu ended somewhere under Casey on +11.

For some life golfers, however, the week did not pan as they intended. Carlos Ortiz withdrew four-over after two rounds, while Ogetree, Harold Varner III, Caleb Surratt and Reserve John Catlin all missed the clip.
