Trump signs customs duties on the top trading partners as he adopts ‘America First’ Agenda

On Saturday, President Donald Trump gave up well with his promise to impose on America’s three largest trading partners – Canada, China and Mexico.

Economists warn that these movements will adversely affect US companies and consumers, many of whom are still being rolled from the sharp increase in inflation in recent years.

Here, a customs on Mexican and Canadian goods can hit Americans hardest:

Cars and car parts: The United States imported $ 87 billion motor vehicles and $ 64 billion worth of Mexico vehicle parts of Mexico, and do not account for December, according to Data on Trade Department. Electronics, toys, appliances: Consumer electronics are among the top goods that the United States imported from China last year, according to federal trading data. It includes mobile phones, TVs, laptops, video game consoles, screens and all the components that drive them.

China is also a large supplier of household appliances. These, along with toys and footwear, are especially exposed to Trump’s customs threats. More than half of shoes sold in the US are made in China, according to Footwear Distributors & Retailers of America.

The United States also depend on China for toys and sports equipment, including objects such as footballs, football balls and baseballs. The United States gets 75% of its imported toys and sports equipment from China.
