Flint, Mich. – Claressa Shields has entered its own league.

The undefeated world champion boxer caught the undisputed heavyweight title with a unanimous decision -making victory over previously undefeated Danielle Perkins on Sunday night. She fell Perkins with a right hook in the final seconds of the 10th and final round to secure the victory.

With the victory, she became the first boxer, male or woman, in the four-belt era, which became the undisputed master of three different weight classes (Junior middle, middle and heavy weight).

She has WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO tongue weight titles. For women’s boxing, the heavyweight division is considered 175 pounds and up.

Shields (16-0, 3 kos) said she went on to an opportunity to fight at the Barclays Center in New York so she could return to Michigan for a return home at the Dort Financial Center in Flint.

In her heavyweight debut 27 July in Detroit, she scored another round of TKO victory over Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse with Perkins on the subtitled.

Shields, 29, is ESPN’s # 1-ranked heavyweight and No. 1 Pound-for-Pund Fighter, but said the fire is still burning inside her to cement her place in history, even though she has called herself “gwoat”- Bigest woman all the time.

“That’s not enough. That’s how I think. I think I didn’t get my flowers for so many years, so even though I get them now, it’s like it’s not enough,” said Shields. “I deserve more than that. I fight for a million dollars. So I have to get paid five. This isn’t. So for me, that’s where the fire comes from.”
