Recording Academy paid tribute to several late artists in its annual in the Memoriam segment at the 2025 Grammy Awards. Chris Martin played Coldplay’s ballad “All My Love” on piano while accompanied by a string section. The segment honored Marianne Faithfull, Steve Albini, Sergio Mendes, Liam Payne, Frankie Beverly, Eric Carmen, Rich Homie Quan, Kris Kristofferson, the band’s Garth Hudson and many others.
