Protesters are blocking traffic in the center of LA over Trump Illegal Immigration Coughdown

Hundreds of protesters flooded a busy Los Angeles Freeway on Sunday morning, causing major traffic delays in response to President Donald Trump’s illegal immigration.

The protest began on Olvera Street around 7 p.m. 9 with a large group of participants. Almost half an hour later, Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) announced several street closures due to “a non-quadrated demonstration that blocks traffic” and suggested drivers to find alternative routes.

California Highway Patrol also confirmed the protests and urged people to avoid the center of Los Angeles while authorities were trying to gain control of the demonstration.

“Please avoid 101 freeway in dtla between I-110 and Mission Rd. When we work to remove a protest from the highway. Access to the state’s highways or ways to protest is illegal and extremely dangerous because it sets protesters, drivers and first responders to a high risk of injury, ”wrote CHP on X.

Many of the protesters could be seen carry signs, waving with Mexican flags and speaking against Trump’s immigration policy. Officers could also be seen in riots and engaged in a standoff with the protesters.

“No human being is illegal on stolen land,” read a sign.

Another read, “Fight ignorance, not immigrants.”

Videos shared on social media show what seemed to be protesters who sprayed graffiti on the highway walls and vandalized at least one car that was stopped in the middle of the crowd.

“They close highways and stop traffic in one of the most overloaded cities in the United States to try to convince us not to deport them,” wrote popular conservative stories of Tiktok on X while shared video of the incident. “This won’t end well. Get ice on stage ASAP.”

Conservative influencer Benny Johnson also shared video of the protests and accepted that “this will not end well for them.”

“FAFO: Massage posting protesters blocked completely 101 motorway in the center of Los Angele. Not only are they illegal in our country, they are now blocking illegal roads. This will not end well for them,” Johnson wrote on X.

Trump has received setbacks from several democratic leaders who have promised to fight against his deportation operation.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have arrested more than 7,400 illegal immigrants nationwide in nine days in the midst of its aggressive crashes propelled by the new Trump administration. The agency also said it has placed almost 6,000 ice catches.

Isofficers have been seen executing raids in houses, workplaces and other businesses while Trump -Administration has promised to send the most violent illegal immigrants to Guantánamo Bay.

Border Czar Tom Homan has said the administration is aimed at violent illegal aliens at the moment. Homeland Security Secretary Christ’s Noem, who oversees ICE, also said that federal immigration authorities arrest the “worst of the worst” in attack.

When he reached a comment, California referred Govin Gavin Newsom’s Fox News Digital office to California Highway Patrol.
