De’Aaron Fox allegedly joining San Antonio Spurs as Sacramento Kings acquires Zach Lavine in more NBA trading drama

All-Star Guard De’Aaron Fox is on the verge of joining San Antonio Spurs as part of a three-team agreement that will see Chicago Bulls’ Zach Lavine Sign with Sacramento Kings, according to Espns Shams Charania.

Through a complex agreement involving multiple players and draft elections, Spurs is set to pair Fox with the 2024 Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama, who continues his ascent towards star status and will make his all-star debut on February 16.

Fox – average 25.0 points, 6.1 assists and 5.0 rebounds this season-ranked as fourth on Kings’ scoring list at all times chosen by Sacramento with the fifth total election in 2017. He will probably enjoy the opportunity to play along with Wembanyama that is average 24.6 points, 10.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 2024-25.

Fox had allegedly been unwilling to commit his long-term future for Kings, who by acquiring Availance will reunite the 29-year-old with his former Bulls teammate DeMar Derozan.

Lavine has enjoyed a resurgence this season and average 24.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists. The kings hope that together with Derozan and three-time all-star Domanta’s Sabonis he can operate Sacramento for his second playoff performance in 19 seasons. The team is currently 24-24 and 10. News about trade comes shortly after the amazing revelation that Luka Dončić joins Los Angeles Lakers from Dallas Mavericks, with the great man Anthony Davis moving in the opposite direction.

Fox and Lavine join Dončić and Davis as the four players on average at least 20 points that have been traded before the deadline this season, the most in the NBA story according to ESPN.

The deal will also see five other players making traits, as well as seven draft choices change hands.

Alongside Fox, Spurs will also acquire co -king Guard Jordan McLaughlin.

In addition to avalanche, Kings Spurs Guard Sidy Cissoko, three first round of elections (from Charlotte Hornets in 2025, Spurs in 2027 and Minnesota Timberwolves in 2031) and three second round (from Bulls in 2025, Nuggets in 2028 and their own pick back from Bulls in 2028).
