De’Aaron Fox allegedly joining San Antonio Spurs as Sacramento Kings acquires Zach Lavine in more NBA trading drama

All-Star Guard De’Aaron Fox is on the verge of joining San Antonio Spurs as part of a three-team agreement that will see Chicago Bulls’ Zach Lavine Sign with Sacramento Kings, according to Espns Shams Charania.

Through a complex agreement involving multiple players and draft elections, Spurs is set to pair Fox with the 2024 Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama, who continues his ascent towards star status and will make his all-star debut on February 16.

Fox – average 25.0 points, 6.1 assists and 5.0 rebounds this season-ranked as fourth on Kings’ scoring list at all times chosen by Sacramento with the fifth total election in 2017. He will probably enjoy the opportunity to play along with Wembanyama that is average 24.6 points, 10.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 2024-25.

Fox had allegedly been unwilling to commit his long-term future for Kings, who by acquiring Availance will reunite the 29-year-old with his former Bulls teammate DeMar Derozan.

Lavine has enjoyed a resurgence this season and average 24.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists.
