Ea wants you to shape the next battlefield here is how to sign up

After a storming race by Battlefield Games, Electronic Arts makes a much greater investment in the shooter franchise, which brings together four studios-rattle effect, criterion, motive and dice-to develop the follow-up to Battlefield 2042. In a step reminiscent of EA’s development of the next skate game, the publisher and its collective battlefield studies also open early, “Pre-Alpha” testing of the next generation battlefield game to ensure the player’s feedback controls his creation.

Monday announced EA Battlefield LabsA new player test program through which Battlefield fans will “test specific focus areas in the game,” said Battlefield manufacturer Christian Grass, including combat and destruction mechanics, multiplayer cards and game modes. The plan, said producers and leaders, is to prototype features, play testing them and get feedback from new and long-standing battlefield players.

“We have to find gameplay that really resonates with the players and then builds on it,” said Byron Bede, general manager of the Battlefield franchise, in a video announcing Battlefield Labs. Through Battlefield Labs, developers hope to “try different things, but also validate what players expect from the battlefield,” said David Sirland, a producer at Original Battlefield Developer Dice.

Interested players can sign up for a shot to play test the new battlefield game at EAS Website And join the official disagreement of the franchise. EA said the original invitations will be limited to “a few thousand participants with servers located in Europe and North America”, but that the company is planning to roll out Battlefield Labs testing for “tens of thousands more” in other regions.

EA and Battlefield Studios showed short excerpts of the next Battlefield game in action, prehanging them with a note that the recordings were “before Alfa-GamePlay.” But it had the hallmarks of Battlefield-GamePlay, which showcased modern military actions that mingled on Earth Infantry-Pistol Games with a number of combat vehicles and massive destruction on the level.

The latest post in the franchise, Battlefield 2042were released in 2021 for a mixed reception. The futuristic military shooting game emphasized major player counts (up to 128 players at once), gameplay-changing roadside effects and a socially focused mashup mode called Battlefield Portal that lets players mix and match elements of previous games.

Electronic art has not announced a release date or platforms for the next Battlefield game. But if the procedure here is something like the one that EA took with Skate. (alias Skate 4), we might be waiting for a while to get our hands on it.
