Michigan State falls to No. 9 in Top 25 College Basketball Location

Michigan State Basketball’s first loss of more than two months cost them in this week’s US Today Top 25 Coaches Poll.

The Spartans fell two spots to No. 9 in this week’s location after a tough start to their Los Angeles Road Trip.

MSU (18-3, 9-1 Big Ten) Had his 13-match victory cracked on Saturday with a road loss of 70-64 at the USC, where the Trojans led to start ending. The Spartans blasted Minnesota last Tuesday, 73-51.

Tom Izzo will try to tie Bob Knights Big Ten record of 353 conference winner on Tuesday, when MSU plays at UCLA (22:00, peacock).

The Spartans then return home to meet Oregon on Saturday at the Breslin Center in East Lansing (noon, FOX).

MSU is also ranked ninth in Associated Press vote.
