Outlaw Music Festival returns to Syracuse Amphitheatre – yes, with Willie Nelson

The Outlaw Music Festival returns to Syracuse, and yes, Willie Nelson will be there.

Nelsons Touring Festival celebrates its 10 -year anniversary this year with a Sunday 10th August, concert at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheatre at LakeView. Planned artists include Willie Nelson & Family, Bob Dylan, Turnpike Troubadours, The Red Clay Strays and Waylon Payne.

Tickets will be sold on Friday, February 7 at. 10 Via Live Nation. Prices have not been announced.

Concert guests are not allowed to bring their own lawn chairs inside the room. A limited number of rental rental is available.

Dylan appeared at Syracuse Amphitheatre last year for the Outlaw Music Festival, but Nelson canceled his appearance due to health problems. The 91-year-old musician’s time gap was filled by his son, Lukas Nelson.

Nelson, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Country Music Hall of Fame, has been performing for more than 70 years. “On the Road Again” singer first launched the Outlaw Music Festival in 2016 and made it a tournament event with various lineups.

Dylan, 83, is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame. He recently crowned his life and career in the biopic “A Complete Unknown” with Timothee Chalamet starring.

Turnpike troubadours is a country/americana band from Oklahoma.

The Red Clay Strays, from Alabama, became viral in 2023 with the hit song “Wondering Why.”

Waylon Payne is a country singer whose father, guitarist Jody Payne, performed with Willie Nelson and his mother, Grammy-winning singer Sammi Smith, toured with Waylon Jennings.
