Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson announces ‘Outlaw Music Festival’ 2025 Tour

Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson return to the road this summer to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Outlaw Music Festival, and they bring Sheryl Crow, Wilco, Billy Strings, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Avett Brothers, Lake Street Dive, Waxahatchee, Lucinda Williams, Bruce Hornsby & The Stoisemakers and more to join them at various stops along the way. The 35-date tour starts May 13 in Phoenix and packs up September 19 in East Troy, Wisconsin. Ticket sale begins February 7th.

“What a great lineup to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Outlaw Music Festival Tour,” Nelson said in a statement. “I can’t wait to join friends and family to bring this party to the fans we love.” (The math is a bit unclear in terms of “10 -Year anniversary” – the first was held in 2016.)

Other artists in the rotating set up include Turnpike Troubadours, The Red Clay Strays, Charles Wesley Godwin, tramped by Turtles, Mavericks, Sierra Hull, Willow Avalon, Waylon Payne, Madeline Edwards, Lily Meola, Myron Elkins and Tami Neilson. Like the 2024 -in -the -bank carnation of the Outlaw Festival Tour, Dylan and Nelson are the only actions that appear on each bill.

The original Outlaw Music Festival was a one-day event in Scranton, Pennsylvania, containing Nelson, Neil Young and Promise of the Real, Sheryl Crow, Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Lee Ann Womack. It turned into a tour of 2017, when Nelson was joined all summer by actions such as my morning jacket, Van Morrison, Eric Church, Jason Isbell and Dylan.

The 2024 -Inquarnation of the Outlaw Music Festival was the first time that Dylan signed up for the entire trip. But Nelson was forced to miss more concerts due to health problems. Lukas Nelson entered his father’s shoes at these shows and played classics from the entire family catalog.

Dylan’s nocturnal set was a sharp departure from his standard Rough and bully ways Show of the previous few years. He dropped every song from LP in 2020 and instead played surprising covers such as Chuck Berry’s “Little Queenie” and Dewayne Blackwell’s “Mr. Blue” beyond originals such as “Ballad of a Thin Man”, “Shooting Star”, “Love Sick” And “I’m Be Your Baby Tonight.
