What is next for Jey Uso, Charlotte Flair?

The first two tickets to Wrestlemania 41 have been beaten.

“Main Event” Jey Uso and “Queen” Charlotte Flair appeared as the winners of men’s and women’s royal rumble matches in Indianapolis on Saturday night and secured their spots in championship matches on Wrestlemania in April. They took two different paths to their monumental victories; Flair is a 14-time WWE champion and can add his decorated career while USO continues to build his single career in a larger way.

Wwe’s big event is still more than two months away. Who will flair and USO face on Wrestlemania 41? And what will be in store for those who lead up to it? Here’s a look at what could be ahead for the 2025 Royal Rumble Winners:

What is next for Charlotte Flair?

The two-time royal rumble winner was out of action for more than a year before her return. Since she has not been involved in any history lines, she has plenty of options open.

“I come after my title on Wrestlemania. I just haven’t decided which one, ”she said at her press conference.

A matchup with Tiffany Stratton for WWE WOMEN’s Championship is an enticing option. Still young in her career, Stratton has been considered the next possible multi-time champion in view of her natural talent and ability to do almost everything in the ring. In a way, she is like a younger flair, and a possible match can be a passing moment for the next generation of wrestling.

However, there is another option that is too good to move on to WWE: Flair vs. Rhea Ripley to Women’s World Championship in the Wrestlemania Trilogy match. By 2020, the two faced Wrestlemania 36 to NXT Women’s Championship, while Ripley was still an increasing view and the experienced flair got the best of her. Three years later, they dueled on Wrestlemania 39 in what was one of the best matches of the year, with Ripley, who claimed the Women’s World Cup.

Two years since their last match, the landscape in WWE has changed. This wrestlemania 39 -win is arguably when Ripley launched himself in star status. She is now a veteran with Star Power, the biggest star in the women’s division, far from the same person facing flair in the past. Flair will prove that she is “the story that creates, pioneering, never scared, always prepared, self -made and always paid. The woman of WWE” … so why not put two of the biggest names together once again in Another thriller?

What is next for Jey Uso?

Decisions, decisions, decisions.

The main event is officially in the hands of the “Main Event” man, and typically Men’s Royal Rumble -Winner would go after the top prize in WWE. But it’s not that simple.

Since becoming a single star, USO has been competing for the World Heavyweight Championship three times on TV, and he has come short each time, including against Gunther a week ago on Saturday evening’s main event. It has been one of his biggest goals, and he even admitted on his way into the night, it was something he planned to chase if he won. Now that he was the last to stand, that thinking may have changed.

“Now it’s in concrete right now, and it’s after rumble, and I really won it, I look at both (titles),” USO said.

The idea that USO is competing against friend Cody Rhodes on the undisputed WWE championship seems crazy considering it did not seem like an opportunity before Saturday night. Still, it is an option that is now possible. He could really be in the main event in the biggest show as possible.

But is it realistic? No. While the USO is definitely over with the crowd, he is not wrestlemania main crew ready. He has improved dramatically since Dud on Wrestlemania 40 with his brother Jimmy, but he’s not there yet. There are so many big names – John Cena, CM Punk, Roman Reigns to name a few – it would be better features to meet Rhodes and make much more sense. The story and structure would help make it a wrestlemania classic.

The right step for the USO would be challenging Gunther again. The current champion has garbage USO’s ability in the ring, but the USO could change the narrative by breaking down Gunther in Las Vegas.

“I want to have a more crack on Gunther. I really want to beat Gunther,” said USO.

It’s not the typical route for the Royal Rumble winner, but it’s the right one for “Mr. Yeet.”
