Medical emergency with fan delays Grizzlies vs. Spurs on FedExforum

A medical emergency at the Memphis Grizzlies game Monday night against San Antonio Spurs led to a delay shortly before 7 p.m. 19.00 CT Tipoff.

Both teams came back on the floor with about 15 minutes on the shot clock, giving them a chance to warm up before the game.

“Just before the start of tonight’s game, a fan was sitting by sitting the court a medical emergency,” said a grizzlies spokesman. “We send our thoughts and prayers to the person involved and are grateful to the first respondents and medical staff who provided the necessary care.
