Hi, everyone! I hope your week is a good start.

I really enjoyed sharing many of the things I like with you in the Recommendation at the end of the column in the last several months. I am in all kinds of music and movies and games and experiences, and I think it’s healthy to talk about the things you enjoy.

As long as the things you like do not hurt anyone else, there is no such thing as a guilty pleasure. Enjoy the things you love with all your heart and don’t let anyone get you ashamed of them. The concept of a guilty pleasure is a ridiculous.

Before we begin, I have created a discussion group to Connections and this column On disagreement. You can chat about every game (and other topics) with me and other people. I am always interested in finding out how other people are approaching the game, so be with us! It’s funny.

It is also the best way to give me any feedback about the column, especially on the rare (!) Events that I root.

Today’s New Connections Tip and response for Tuesday, February 4th coming right up.

How to Play Connections

Connections is a free, popular New York Times Daily word games. You get a new puzzle at midnight every day. You can play on New Website or game -app.

You are presented with a grid of 16 words. Your task is to arrange them in four groups of four by finding out the connections between them. The groups can be things like topics you can click on, names for participants in research studies or words prior to a body part.

There is only one solution for each puzzle and you have to be careful when it comes to words that may fit into more than one category. You can mix the words to maybe help you see connections between them.

Each group is color coded. The yellow group is usually the easiest to find out, blue and green fall in the middle, and the purple group is usually the hardest. The purple group often involves word games.

Choose four words you think go together and press send. If you guess and you’re wrong you lose a life. If you are close to having a correct group, you can see a message that tells you that you are a word away from getting it right, but you still need to find out which one to swap.

If you make four mistakes, it’s played over. Let’s make sure it doesn’t happen using some tips and if you really fight it is the day’s Connections Answer. As with Wordle And other similar games, it’s easy to share results with your friends on social media and group chats.

If you have a New All access or play subscription you can access the publication Connections File. This includes every previous game of ConnectionsSo you can go back and play some of the ones you’ve missed.

Apart from the first 60 matches or so, you should be able to find my tips for each grid via Google if you need them! Just Click here And add the date of the game that you need clues or the answers to the search queries.

Today’s Connections The answers are …

Unfortunately, no perfect game today, but the total strip is up to 22 wins. This is how I managed:

I enjoyed seeing butter and chicken next to each other on the top line. It’s one of my favorite dishes. File and save next to each other seemed like a red herring of computer commands.

I got the green fast, but then I stumbled up. I included favorite with yellow instead of preserving (which I thought would go with butter and spread) as a group of actions you take to preserve something on your phone or computer for later. Drat. At least I realized that the error quickly and secured yellow.

At least things were straightforward enough for me to spot blues as a group of bets. I figured out the purple connection before I indicated it as my third group and wrapped with blues.

Butterfingers are a term for someone who drops things that chicken fingers are another name of chicken teat or strips. Lady fingers are fungal cakes and sticky fingers is a term for someone who tends to steal things.

PS after over a week’s dance/house recommendations, let’s slow down things right down. Together with my huge head gaming with optimistic songs I really like, I also have one I often play when I try to sleep.

This song from Woodlock is the latest addition to my bedtime Jams playlist. “Quick Hands” is an absolutely nice track that I first heard on Apple Music’s Sunday Morning Playlist (which is what wakes me up this weekend). I haven’t listened to any of Woodlock’s other music yet but I prioritize it how much I love this song:
