Warriors can acquire overrated $ 197 million pelicans forward through trade

If the Golden Warriors do not take another step before February 6th trading deadline, it would be safe to say that the organization is not serious about competing for a championship.

Acquisition of one Overrated New Orleans Pelicans Forward that has not lived up to the billing in the NBA would be risky, but it would show that Warriors are trying to improve their list.

“While the Pelicans have shown more interest in Trade (Brandon) Ingram, Zion (Williamson) would be the more attractive name for Warriors, provided he can stay healthy,” wrote Clutch Points’ Brett Siegel Monday.

“This has been the biggest concern about the previous first-overall election during his ten period in New Orleans, which Williamson has only played in 13 games this season due to injury.”

“After this season, Williamson has several non-guaranteed clauses in his contract and various bonuses that he can accrue based on weighing and health checks.”

“It is unknown whether these rare clauses would be canceled if Williamson was to be traded for a new team.”

When Williamson entered the NBA, injuries were not a major problem.

Yes, the Duchy product suffered a mild knee sprain against North Carolina in what many considered a freak injury.

Still, Williamson only missed five games during his lonely season with Blue Devils, giving NBA -Generelle leaders a little to no reason to avoid him in 2019 draft.

However, Williamson’s young NBA career is filled with setbacks under the body.

From hamstring damage to significant knee questions, Williamson has struggled to prove that he can consistently remain healthy in a pelican uniform.

The physically impressive and athletic gifted forward average of 23.6 points, 8.2 rebounds and 5.0 assists per day. Match this season while they appear only in 13 competitions.

Since 2019, Williamson has missed over 150 regular seasonal matches with New Orleans, making him a high-risk goal for Warriors in 2025.

If he can consistently remain on the hardwood, a Williamson and Stephen Curry pairing would undoubtedly excite Golden State fans waiting for another high-profile superstar to arrive at the bay.
