Jalen Brunson’s clutch games impress fans in Knicks’ Win vs. Amen Thompson, Rockets | News, scores, highlights, statistics and rumors

Another electric performance from Jalen Brunson led New York Knicks to a 124-118 win over Houston Rockets Monday.

Brunson had 42 points, 10 assists and six rebounds in the victory, putting together a coupling in the fourth quarter, where he fell 17 points to help New York mount a double -digit comeback. He had a handful of crucial buckets late in the game, including a three-pointer that gave Knicks a four-point pillow with only one minute to play.

After Rockets cut the lead to two points with just under 40 seconds left, Brunson forced a turnover that ultimately helped seal the victory as New York iced played on the free throwing line.

While Brunson was the most important story in the victory, his supportive role put together a good game as well. Mikal Bridges fell 22 points, Karl-Anthony Towns also added 22, and Josh Hart ended with 19 points.

On Rockets’ side, the second year from Amen Thompson continued to prove himself with a big match against one of the best teams in the league. Thompson had 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in the loss.

After pulling off the Gutsy victory, fans had great praise for another clutch performance from Brunson.
