SpaceX warns about Sonic Booms during booster landing after evening launch of MAXAR 3 -MISSION

SpaceX is now targeting Tuesday night for the launch of a commercial satellite, and the space company has warned that one or more Sonic Booms can be heard across parts of Central Florida after landing Falcon 9’s first-step booster.

The 60-minute window opens at. 18:07 et. If necessary, there is a backup launch option available on Wednesday, February 5 with a 60-minute window that opens at 1 p.m. 17.42 et.

The Maxar 3 mission will be launched in Orbit from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

The Maxar 3 mission is a product of Maxar Intelligence that provides “geospatial intelligence” through high resolution satellite images for government and commercial purposes. This satellite is part of the first block of six worldview Legion spaces.

This will be the fourth flight for Falcon 9 First Stage Booster, supporting this mission, which previously launched Goes-U and two Starlink missions.

After stage separation, the first phase countries on landing zone 1 (LZ-1) will at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. SpaceX is typically targeted at landing its first-step booster on drone ships stationed several miles off the Florida coast, but because this landing will occur in Cape Canaveral, this has led to Sonic Boom warnings.
