Jacob Mendy was to start for Wrexham against Port Vale in EFL Trophy Last-16

Jacob Mendy has fought for the first team football this season after performing only seven performances in all competitions. The versatile left -sided player has been an integral part of Wrexham’s increase through the divisions, but has found options limited in League One.
