2025 Football Plan Advertised – Iowa State University Athletics

Ames, Iowa – Iowa State’s 2025 football plan is completed after he was announced by the BIG 12 conference on Tuesday morning.

The season opens August 23 in Dublin, Ireland as Cyclones face the Big 12 Conference -Rival Kansas State in Aer Lingus College Football Classic. Tickets for the game against wildcats are for sale now.

Cyclones play six home matches at Midamerican Energy Field at Jack Trice Stadium and opens the homemade August 30 against FC’s semi -finalist South Dakota.

Iowa State’s annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series Showdown Against Iowa returns to Ames September 6th. The following week (September 13) ISU closes its non-conference plan in State Arkansas.

Arizona comes to Jack Trice Stadium September 27, when Cyclones jumps back in the BIG 12 game. ISU then plays back-to-back road game for the only time in 2025, traveling to Cincinnati on October 4 and Colorado on October 11th. It will be Iowa State’s first match against the buffaloes since 2010 but 66^Th In series history as schools, one of the longest rivals in the program history renews.

After its second bye week, Iowa State hosts Byu for returning home on October 25. Cyclones welcomes Arizona State on November 1st in a new match from the 2024 Big 12 Championship Game.

Two of Isus last three games will be on the road, starting with an 8th November showdown at TCU. Iowa State’s Senior Day will be November 22 against Kansas, and the regular season will close on November 29 in Oklahoma State.

Arizona, Byu and Arizona State visit Jack Trice Stadium for the first time in 2025.

Due to Cyclone’s starting game in “Week Zero”, Iowa State’s schedule has three towns: 20 September, 18 October, November 15.

Iowa State returns 12 starters, six each on offense and defense, including Star Quarterback Rocco Becht. Becht threw more than 3,500 meters and led cyclones to four exciting coming from behind in 2024.
