‘The Gonnies’ Role Authority Reunion (Again) On Premiere of ‘Love Hurts’ with Sean Astin

GOONES Cast reunited for the second time in recent days when they posed for a photo on the red carpet on the premiere of the movie Love hurts Monday, February 3rd.

The movie plays GOONES Actors Sean Astin and Ke Huy Quan, who went on the blanket with Jeff Cohen, Kerri Green and Corey Feldman.

The Romantic Action-comedy stars Quan, 53, as a Hitman-Vindte-Realor whose past comes back to him. Astin, also 53, plays his boss in the film.

The film premieres 40 years after the two men starred in the now iconic film from 1985, GOONES. NBC News Reports that their new film’s production notes include a quote from Quan about his reunion with astin on set.

“The day Sean arrived on set, I fell everything and ran to give him a big hug,” said Quan pr. NBC News. “We are brothers for life because of that movie. When we finally shot our first scene together, I was transported back to 1985. All cameras and everyone around us disappeared – it was just me and him. I was that kid again and remembered that exchange: ‘Hi data, where are you going?’ ‘I put booty traps.’ ‘You mean booby -traps.’ Sharing the screen with him again after all these years is a great gift. ”

The reunion came a few hours after members of the role crew met Monday afternoon to celebrate Quan at his hand and footprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theater in Los Angeles.

On the deck for the celebration was the film’s screenwriter Chris Columbus and Costars Feldman, Cohen, Green and Josh Brolin, who spoke to the event.

“You are really one of the last existences of the American dream. Ke Huy Quan … I will not say much but that after GOONESI also lived in Ethers of our business for 19 years. The only difference is that I still shot away at the remains and trade full time while pursuing a completely different profession and distinguished in it famous, ”said Brolin
