College of Charleston Student serves 4 formulation development of “The Voice” with blind audition

Charleston, SCBD) -T 20-year-old College of Charleston students earned a four-formation trip to his opening blind audition at NBC’s “The Voice” Monday night.

Florence native Grace-Miller Moody sang Maroon 5’s “Sunday Morning” for her performance and ended up choosing to be on frontman Adam Levine’s team for season 27.

Before he appeared, Moody explained that after her younger brother had recovered from a leukemia fight, her family took a trip to watch Maroon 5 perform live in Las Vegas. She said it was the turn that helped her family heal.

Back from a five-year break, Levine said, “I can definitely help you get to the place you need to go because the potential for you is unlimited” when he makes his pitch for Moody to join his team.

Scholarship and country star Kelsea Ballerini noticed how Levine rarely turns her chair for a performance for her own song after Moody song.

“Adam is notorious for his own song, so you’ve broken the code,” Ballerini said.

After making his choice, Levine Moody went with a custom ‘Team Adam’ sweatshirt.

“It feels amazing. This whole experience has been crazy and met the people I have met, ”Moody said in a post-performance interview. “To review it all and have my family with has just been great.”
