Two Wildcats joined the Club Trillion in the loss

The box score from Kentucky’s loss to Ole Miss is full of crazy statistics (and a triple double). Among the many statistics that stand out, the rebels’ assist-to-turn relationships are the most damn. Ole Miss had 24 assists with only one revenue while scoring 98 points, which was 20 points above their average. 98 points, 24 assists and a turnover tells the story of Wildcats’ defense (or lack of them).

Two players also stand out on the box’s score and not for good reason. Ansley Almonor and Trent Noah Each one recorded ”Billion“Which means they couldn’t register a single state during the game. Not a point. Not a rebound. No assists. No revenue. Not a single shot attempt. Nothing. A line of zeros for both of them, a sign of Irrelevans of minutes the game.

Almonor and Noah combined to play 28 minutes, making their trillion even rarer. For Almonor it was a 15 trillion. Noah had a 13 trillion.

Only Kenny Walker in 1983 played several minutes in a Kentucky uniform without registering a state, according to @Bigbluehistory.

A third wildcat, Collin ChandlerAlmost joined his two teammates in Club Billion. Chandler took a shot to walk 0 for 1 from the field in his three minutes without statistics, or Kentucky would have three trillion in the loss.

Pope: “We were actually not good at anything”

In his comments Postgame admitted Mark Pope that nothing worked defensively for Kentucky. He told Tom Leach that he wanted his wildcats to be good at something on the defense, but Tuesday night was a failure with all systems.

“Right now, in this moment, in this game tonight, We were actually not good at something“Pope admitted after the loss.

Ole Miss set a record for assists against Kentucky. It was also the first game of the season without tapes and no lead changes. Kentucky pulled for 39 minutes and 43 seconds.
