Coldplay’s Chris Martin to perform at opening ceremonies for 2025 Invictus play in Vancouver

Coldplay -frontman Chris Martin is added to the set -up to the opening ceremonies in 2025 Invictus Games in Vancouver.

Organizers of Games announced Friday that the English vocalist will perform at BC Place Stadium on February 8 and join a star -studded lineup that includes Katy Perry, Noah Kahan and Nelly Furtado.

Martin has been involved in the games since they were founded by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex in 2014, and composed Invictus Anthem, used in the medal ceremonies at each game.

Prince Harry started Invictus games to advocate results after the injury of wounded, wounded and sick military veterans and other service staff.

Up to 550 athletes from 23 nations compete on the matches in Vancouver and Whistler from 8-16. February.

This year’s event includes winter adaptive sports such as skeleton, skiing, skiing and snowboarding for the first time.
