A winter weather counseling is in effect from 21:00 tonight (Wednesday) until 7 p.m. 10 Thursday. According to the National Weather Service (NWS), “total accumulations of gossip up to an inch and ice collection up to a tenth of empty empty are expected.”

As per NWS, “A mixture of light -freezing rain, sleet and snow begins tonight. Defeating becomes mainly a steady freezing rain tonight. Temperatures are heated on Thursday morning that surpasses freezing rain to rain. “

Conditions are very likely that they are smooth overnight, but temperatures are expected to rise above freezing as sunrise approaches. The change to rain is likely to occur before sunrise, so it is a question of how long it takes to wash any possible ice cream.

The latest map from NWS (Set below) shows reduced totals for parts of Montgomery, Howard and Loudoun counties, with the upper parts of all three of these counties that have the most potential for glaze. Areas such as Germantown, Clarksburg and Damascus are in the card’s row of a tenth of an inch for a quarter empty ice. The whole Frederick County is in this interval.

Prediction of Pencil: 2 pencils. I read against three pencils when more ice was expected for the whole of Montgomery County and there is still a shot on it, but right now it seems that a delay is possible so the school system can see the conditions before deciding, how to move on. School systems to the north, just like Frederick and Carroll County have a better shot to close if the transition to rain happens later in the morning.
