JAWS 3D STAR PH MORIARTY goes away 86 year-thre Daily Jaws

Paul Hugh “PH” Moriarty, born on September 23, 1938, in Deptford, London, died on February 3, 2025, at the age of 86, before starting his acting career, Moriarty worked as a boxer and a docker at Surrey commercial Dokker. His entry into acting came unexpectedly when a movie crew that shoots a scene on the English docks, discovered him and invited him to attend.

Moriarty adopted the stage name “PH Moriarty” to distinguish himself from another actor named Paul Moriarty. He became known for producing hard characters and gangsters and leaving a significant brand at British cinema. In particular, he played ‘Razors’ in John Mackenzie’s “The Long Good Friday” (1980) and ‘Hatchet’ Harry Lonsdale in Guy Ritchies “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” (1998).
