Pickup driver pushed out and killed in crash with tractor trailer identified

Charlton, new (WRGB) – A person was killed on Monday in a two-car accident involving a pickup and a tractor trailer on route 67 in Saratoga County.

The State Police responded Monday at. 12. According to police, a tractor trailer collided with a pickup, causing the driver of the pickup to be pushed out of the vehicle. The driver allegedly caused serious injuries and was declared the deceased on the spot.

Evan M. Kvinlaug, 21, from Albany, Ny, has been identified as the decedent in this crash.

Route 67 was closed for four hours between Jolly Road and Morrow Road for exploration and collision reconstruction, but has since been reopened.

Officials say the driver of the commercial vehicle stopped immediately after the collision and has worked with the ongoing investigation.
