Louisville Basketball Teacher Lesson, Closing Boston College Without Chucky Hepburn

Costnut Hill, Mass.-It Felt Like a Run of Last Weekend: Louisville Basketball, taking a double-digit lead into the dressing room Wednesday night Boston College Knowing that it had missed opportunities to remove his opponent for good.

Lesson learned from a collapse in Atlanta. Pat Kelsey‘S Cardinals (17-6, 10-2 ACC) drove to an 84-58 win over Eagles (10-12, 2-9). And they did it without starting point guard Chucky Hepburn for the last 15:15 of the regulation.

Hepburn, U from L’s leading goal scorer, suffered a apparent lower body injury while converting a layup that gave his team a 48-39 lead less than five minutes into the second half. He gently walked off the field, tried to stretch it out, went to the dressing room and returned to the bench to see his teammates close the victory.

J’Vonne Hadley led the cards with 22 points at 8-for-12 shooting.

Up next to Louisville: A at. 14.00 Tipoff Saturday at KFC YUM! Center Against the last place Miami Hurricanes, who has the week after completing a 10-match losing row with a 63-57 win over Notre Dame on February 1st.
