Lakers supposedly Land Hornets Center Mark Williams in exchange for Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish

Los Angeles Lakers makes another step ahead of the trade deadline.

Lakers entered into an appointment to send Rookie Dalton Knecht and Cam Reddish to Charlotte Hornets Wednesday night, According to Espns Shams Charania. In return, they get the center Mark Williams. Lakers also sent Charlotte an unprotected future draft of the first round and a 2030 pick swap.

The trade came just a few days after the fantastic deal that sent Center Anthony Davis to Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Star Luka Dončić. Williams can now in theory fill the gap that Davis left in Lakers’ set up.

Williams is in the middle of its best season in the league. 7-foot out of Duke has an average of 16 points and 9.8 rebounds per day. Fight this season, all of which are career heights. Hornets took him with the total election No. 15 in 2022, and he had at least 20 points and 14 rebounds in two of their last three games-who came in the middle of a six-game that lost shit for Charlotte.

Hornets, which only have a 12-36 record, gets both Knecht and reddish moving forward. Lakers took Knecht with No. 17 overall choice of Tennessee last summer. He is an average of 9.4 points and 3.1 rebounds largely from the bench, while on average almost 21 minutes per minute. Fight so far with Lakers. Reddish, who is in his second season with Lakers, has an average of 3.3 points and two rebounds in about 18 minutes per day. Competition this season.

Williams is now going to take part in a Lakers team ready for a bit of a rebrand on Midway Point of the Season. The franchise has a record of 29-19 in Thursday’s Matchup with Golden State Warriors, and they have won nine of their last 11 games. The team seems to be in a very solid position to make another half-shub during first-year coach JJ Redick now with their future centerpiece of post-lebron James era and a rising center to go with him now in place.

However, whether these traits can lead to another title before James calls it a career, however, to see.
