Openai Falls Enrolled Requirements for Chatgpt -Search

You no longer need to log in or create an account to use chatgpt search from Openai. You can now just use chatgpt without an account.

The message. Openai advertised This on x and says:

Chatgpt -Search is now available to everyone on – no registration required.

More details. Openai launched Chatgpt Search in October 2024 and then did it free for all users in mid -December. Now you don’t even need an account to use chatgpt search.

How it works. According to Openai:

  • “The search model is a fine-tuned version of the GPT-4O, post-trained using new synthetic data generation techniques, including distillation outputs from the Openai O1 front. Chatgpt search utilizes third-party providers, as well as content provided directly by our partners, to provide the information users are looking for. “

One of these third -party search providers is Microsoft Bing. Based on its Chatgpt Search Help DocumentOpenai shares search request and location data with Microsoft.

Why we love. Now that you no longer need an account to search the web with chatgpt, it may be a more challenge for Google and other search engines.

As we said before, reference traffic from Chatgpt continues to grow every month. Chatgpt Search will not break down Google’s search monopoly anytime soon. But if chatgpt -searching adoption is accelerating, as it will probably now be open to all Chatgpt users, it could soon find itself to own 1% of the search market share. Brands, businesses and creators are better ready for this shift.
