Man dies in the workplace accident at Lippert Plant in Gosen

Goshen, Ind. (WNDU) -A 36-year-old man died of his injuries in what police call a work accident on Wednesday morning in Gosen.

Police say medicine was called just before 7 p.m. 9.45 to Lippert Components Planting 45 at 2703 College Avenue.

According to investigators, Milos Jovanovic from Naperville, Illinois, was hit by a large bundle of steel pipe while delivering a lot of steel from his semi-truck.

Paramedics tried to save Jovanovic’s life, but their efforts were not successful.

Police say they do not release further details of the workplace accident at this time.
