Areas with freezing drip will be possible mainly for areas south of I-90 Wednesday night. Spread light snow showers will be hanging over see Minnesota until midnight.

We are tracking a strong weather producer for the coming weekend, which can bring the snowfall suspensions to the top midwest.

Long -wide models still agree with 3 ″+ of snowfall over southern and central Minnesota. The latest guide is to show a sharp cutoff in snowfall plots along the I-90. Areas south of I-90 may see less than 1 ″ from this system.

Timing with this round with snow will be all day on Saturday. The heaviest snowfall could come in the morning and early afternoon hours. Snow showers must be out of the region at. 19-9

I still think the highest amounts of snow will be just north of our region. Looking more towards Minneapolis and north of totals exceeding 6 ″ snow. We keep an eye on trends to see if the heavy cut of snow is changing south.
