Shakopee Woman killed in crash on I-494 at Highway 169 near Eden Prairie

A 45-year-old Shaopee woman was killed on Monday morning in a crash on Interstate 494 at Highway 169 in Bloomington, near the border with Eden Prairie, according to Minnesota State Patrol.

The accident took place at. 06:33, when a Chevy Impala from 2009, run by Yadira Gabriela Hernandezaguilar, spun out and slid over all traffic lanes. A 2021 shipping lines that traveled in the left lane hit the driver’s side of Impala, officials said.

Hernandezaguilar was wearing a seat belt and alcohol was not a factor in the crash. She sustained fatal damage according to the state patrol.

The driver of semi-truck, a 76-year-old Eagan man, was undamaged.

The road was reported as the snow and ice cover at the time. Emergency persons from Allina and Eden Prairie Fire Department helped the stage.

In addition to the deadly crash, snow -covered and icy relationships with dozens of crashes and vehicle spinouts over Minnesota on Monday, according to the state patrol.
