He said that fog is probably in Blue Ridge and along Potomac and Chesapeake Bay before the hot front pushes through around 2 p.m. 11



The rain is expected to end between noon and 15:00 with a “little bit of sunshine” and it warms over freezing at about 40 degrees.

Merrill said the ice will melt around 2 p.m. 9, when all rainfall changes to rain. A few rainfall is probably late Thursday morning before the rain ends.

“We have to look after some dense fog that develops right after sunset tonight, which will be a little widespread tonight,” Merrill said.
