Herd beats Arkansas State 77-72

Huntington, W.VA. (WSAZ) – Marshall -Man’s basketball team stood toe to toe with the top of the sunbelt and knocked them out in the second half. Herd beat Arkansas State 77-72 behind one last 20 minutes, where they outscored them 48-37. Marshall had a couple of double dubbles with Dezayne Mingo, who scored 14 and Dishing out 10 assists. Nate Martin had 18 points along with 14 rebounds.

Marshall is now 8-4 in Sun Belt and in a five-way draw to second place with three weeks of regular games left. Their next four matches are on the road.
