Sixers picks up Jared Butler, Deal Draft Picks In Trade With Wizards – NBC Sports Philadelphia

Sixers became younger on duty and treated draft elections in an agreed trade on Thursday morning with the wizards.

A source confirmed to NBC Sports Philadelphia, the team has agreed to trade with a first round of election and reggie Jackson in exchange for Jared Butler and four second rounds. Marc Stein first reported the news.

Sixers receives:

  • Butler
  • 2027 Second Round (more favorable by the warriors ‘and Suns’)
  • 2028 Second Round Election (Warriors’)
  • 2030 Second Round Pick (more favorable for Suns ‘and Trail Blazers’)
  • 2030 Second Round Election (Wizards’)

Wizards Recipient:

  • Jackson
  • 2026 Pick in the first round (least favorable by Clippers ‘, Thunder’s and Rockets’)

Butler is 10 years younger than 34-year-old Jackson, who appeared in 31 games for Sixers and average 4.4 points and 1.5 assists.

He is currently on a two-way contract and just played a G League game for Capital City Go-go on Tuesday. This means that Sixers to create space for Butler has to do some duty. Jeff Dowtin Jr., Pete Nance and Justin Edwards are occupying Sixers’ two-way slots at the moment. Edwards have been excellent at a non -drawn rookie that Gamely entered into a greater minutes and looks worthy of a standard NBA deal.
