Where to park at WM Phoenix Open

Phoenix (Azfamily) – More than 700,000 people will be in and out of TPC Scottsdale this week for the WM Phoenix Open.

It’s a lot of fans and cars trying to get in and out of the area around the track.

But the organizers have parking down to a science.

The grass next to the course is open this year after being flooded and shut down last year. A special passport is required for this area.

If you do not have one, you will be in general parking where you are encouraged to use gravel parties a little further away.

Most fans come to the tournament at LOOP 101. General parking is mostly northeast of the highway at Westworld.

If you come in from West Valley, finish at Frank Lloyd Wright, then go north to bell and follow the signs for Parties A, B and C.

If you drive in from East Valley, take the bell output and then follow the signs.

Parking is free and there will be free shuttles that operate on all days to get you to and from the main gate.

You can also avoid the entire traffic strap close to the course and park further down to 101 at the Salt River Fields, the spring home for diamondbacks.

These parties are open Wednesday to Sunday with Shuttle service from 9 to 6 every day.

Will you leave the run to another? There is a special riding hare party, called Lot R, on the Bell-94 Sports Complex, just off the Loop 101 and Bell. There is also a shuttle service available for the riding shark party.

If you are planning to go to the bird’s nest, you will park in lots A, B or C on Westworld. These pendulum runs run until 11 at night so you can still get out after the show. Or you use the riding hare party, especially if you are planning to drink.
