Sources – 76ers trades reggie jackson, pile up 2. Round choices

Philadelphia 76ers agrees to send guard reggie Jackson to Washington Wizards in exchange for guard Jared Butler, sources confirmed to ESPN on Thursday in a deal that was much more about choosing to change hands on both sides.

The 76s sent the least favorable choice of the first round of La Clippers, Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets in 2026 to Wizards, while Washington sent four second round back: the better of the Golden State’s and Phoenix’s in 2027; Golden State’s in 2028; Washington’s own in 2030; And the better of Phoenix and Portlands in 2030.

The deal replaces Philadelphia’s stocks in seconds for a first one that is expected to be in the back of the first round, while Washington adds a first round as it continues to undergo a full reconstruction.

Jackson, who will be 35 in April, average 4.4 points in 31 games this season for Philadelphia, while Butler, 24, has an average of 6.9 points in 32 games for the wizards.

USA Today Sports first reported on trade.
