Rochester Airport gets a new airline with four destinations

Rochester, New – A new airline with four destinations comes to Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport.

Monroe County announced that Breeze Airways will begin flights in May. The airline will offer direct flights to Charleston, SC and Raleigh, NC, twice a week. Passengers can also remain on the same plane and proceed to New Orleans or Orlando.

David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways, said there is a growing demand for flights between the northeast and mid -Atlantic region, making Rochester a great fit. Neeleman is also the founder Jetblue and other airlines.

  • Charleston, SC (Thursdays and Sundays starting on May 8th. Fares starts at $ 59 in a way)
  • Raleigh-Durham, NC (Mondays and Fridays starting on May 9th. Fares starts at $ 49 in a way)
  • New Orleans (a stop/no change of flights on Thursdays and Sundays starting on May 8)
  • Orlando, Fla. (A stop/no change of flights on Mondays and Fridays from 9 May)
