Monday was the day of the transfer period in the UK and over the major European leagues.

However, Portugal and the Netherlands were Tuesday, Austria is today, and Turkey is 11 February, and the Czech Republic is only February 22.

The most important thing is UEFA. Clubs have until 1 p.m. 23 tonight to register their troops for play-off and knockout stages for European competition.

All clubs are authorized to register three new players. It doesn’t matter if they have already played in the tournament they are registered to play in.

Aston Villa signed four experienced players – Marcus Rashford, Axel Disasi, Marco Asensio and Donyell Malan. One of them will miss.

Manchester City also signed four, though he got Vitor Reis’ relative inexperienced, he seems more likely to be the weird one than Abdoukodir Khusanov, Omar Marmoush and Nico Gonzalez.

Chelsea only signed Mathis Amougou on loans from St Etienne, but they left Cole Palmer, Romeo Lavia and Wesley Fofana out of their conference League team in the first place.

They are the clubs with a problem.
