Ben Simmons could pull interest

The Brooklyn Nets Allegedly working with Ben Simmons to buy his contract.

The veteran player is in his third season with Nets and has started 24 of the 33 games he has played, while he has an average of 6.2 points, 6.9 assists and 5.2 rebounds.

Reports have indicated that the three-time all-star has drawn interest from several teams including Los Angeles Clippers and Cleveland Cavaliers.

He is in the last year of a five-year-old, max contract which he originally signed with Philadelphia 76ers.

Who is currently available in the acquisition market?

There were at least five players waived from Thursday afternoon.

Washington Wizards officially waived guards reggie Jackson and SIDY CISSOKO.

Wizards had just acquired Jackson in a trade with the 76s. Cissoko was originally traded by San Antonio Spurs And sent to Sacramento Kings Monday before moving again to Washington on Wednesday as part of the trade for Center Jonas Valanciunas.

Oklahoma City Thunder waived Daniel Theis after acquiring Forward Wednesday in a trade with New Orleans Pelicans. Theis, who is currently dealing with a thumb injury, had begun nine of the 38 games he played for the Pelicans this season. He is, on average, only 4.3 points and 4.3 rebounds. The move helps to open a guard space for OKC.

The 76s waived Pete Nance and Detroit Pistons waived Wendell Moore Jr.

Bruce Brown Jr. is another player to look at

Brown could also be another buyout view after he was traded with Toronto Raptors To New Orleans Pelicans as part of the package for Brandon Ingram.

Brown has an average of 8.4 points and 3.8 rebounds in 18 games from the bench for Raptors this season.
